Review on ordering with EyeCandy's (I got two different pairs) :D

From the time I got into cosmetics and Japan, coloured contacts have always caught my attention but I could hardly persuade my parents to allow me to order contact lens from abroad and online at 15. ( they are the precautionary type)

So now with my own income I decided it's time to finally test out the crazy hype of circle lenses which I had craved.

Firstly I had no idea where to order them or should I? I already wear contacts which I always get from my local opticians. I came across EyeCandy's when I saw some posts by a few asian bloggers I already follow on Instagram so it lead me to their site. It actually took me a few months to actually decide and order them!!

I tried to look for reviews on them but I only found mixed reviews and my instinct was to just go for it!

THE PROCESS!

*Ordering was easiest thing ever (need to make an account with them first) and there were no complications apart from when I got confused about USD but PayPal got that sorted and I didn't have to worry about exchange rates. (Set up a Paypal account beforehand, the best way to order in my opinion)*

They keep me updated about when it was shipped and everything through email! Good thing was they also had a tracking code.

Delivery Country - Hong Kong
Arrival Country- United Kingdom
Date when order placed- 10th July 2014
Date received - 22th July 2014

So that actually took only 12 days which is pretty quick.

The packaging was very nice and pretty and looks very clean.

I ordered two sets of contacts which I will review soon once they've been soaked in solution. (Might just do one first before I open the other)

In conclusion, I commend EyeCandy's delivery and packaging and customer service!

Served the wrong food? Give it back!!

*free food but it creates chaos behind the scene*
1: The order has to be made again because you ate another person's food
2: The other person who's food you ate now has to wait longer
3: The waiter who served you will now be having death glares by the chefs
4: You have delayed everyone else's food by forgetting what you ordered?! (Which you explain)

So today I learned and would like to share with everyone, just give the food back pretty please or else. A little honesty wouldn't hurt nor does a little waiting...

Lately I've been lazy

For the past week I've read countless manga, manwha and manhua.

Monster left a great impact on me - the quote "...the monster inside me is growing..." still gives me shivers, I no longer remember the characters or their names but yet it lingers in my the back of my mind refusing to leave. It had a flaw though but I cannot say it is a flaw really...it never explained the cause.

21st Century Boys, I have to say it is very unique in connecting each and every character together which is similar to Monster (character list was immense!) but in my opinion not as interesting as Monster as a whole. The ending was wrapped up very quick and if you had not realised what the flasback was all about then the ending dialogue will be very confusing and hard to understand.

Then my attention diverted me to romantic/comedy and I came across Ingueno (what does this mean?). It's a manhua and very sweet therefore I found it a very enjoyable light read touching sometimes on dark areas but overall good.

Through flicking through numerous other shoujo I came across "Vampire Girl"...usually I skip vampires but somehow I was drawn in but I have to say very confusing towards the end and not something to read half-heartedly ...

I am currently going through a collection of manhwas...

*really got to study*

Round round moon ~

Last night's moon was really beautiful last night~ I wonder if the friends I have all around the world saw it too! It's really nice that we can all look at the same moon :) People is ancient times also saw the same moon as us too ^.^

It reminds me of all the love songs about moons~
♥there is one that sang about his love compared to the round round moon; so full and complete
♡another sang about how the moon was always incomplete after; there is always hurt

Here's a picture I took last night ~

I like the colour blue...

Someone asked me a question before - "Do you like me?"

Here is my answer, "Yes I like you". STOP! I like books, I like the colour blue, I like the sun...so yes I can say I like you without being ashamed or embarrassed because that's how I see you. BUT! What it doesn't mean is that I have (strong) romantic feelings for you. Don't get me wrong, I may still care about you and look out for you because for me your apart in my life something that makes me - me. If you were gone then it would be like losing a bit of my identity so please don't shut me out just because I don't like you in that certain way. I thought our connection was stronger than this trivial matter...

If the colour blue were to go away, what colour would I like then....

New Converses!

Work was O.o ... since it's a fast food restaurant, we were serving like automatic fast robots during the food rush hours (I emphasis hours since there are around 2 or more in one day)!

After my shift, by this time I was starving and one of the chefs cooked me wudon with veg, meat and egg~ yum yum ♥

Later, I headed to town where my mother phoned and told me to come to OFFICE so off I went and bought new Cons xD

They look brill don't they and they were at a great discounted price ;)

*My old Cons will be missed and has served me well these past 4 years*

Fun days at work

I've been working at my new job for nearly a month now! How time flies, it seems like I've always been there!

My workmates are a fun but mixed bunch...there is a girl whom is in her late twenties (married) and three guys (two in  thirties and one in forties?!) - age is hardly something I could ask considering they are my elders o.O I am officially known as 寿司(Sushi) and 小妹妹(Little Sister/Girl) so I guess am accepted into the family haha :D They tease me so because am young and tell me that I should marry an Asian man (Chinese to be specific) which I find hilariously funny and had to retell it to my mother!

Apart from them, the customers I greet, serve and take their order from are becoming more and more familiar to me and I in my part has actually remembered some of their faces especially the regulars. Today when I served this guy, he explained to me he wanted a box for his carry out since he just got his "new volvo" and when my workmate carried the box out, he was doing one of those its so heavy and carrying it on his shoulders action. I burst out laughing and when I turned back to the guy, he gave me a wink lol You know one of those unconsciously done winks, at least I think it was and I just smiled but I wanted to laugh! It's these fun moments that makes me want to stay in this job a bit longer xD
